Generally we call " less than 65mm thickness fabric light box is slim light box".
How to choose light source for slim fabric light box? I am offen asked by our customers.
We all know, the more thick the light box is , the less led strips we will use, that means the more thick the light box is, the more cheap it would be. Try to imagine, 40mm fabric light box, if use back-lit rigid led strips, the spacing distance between led strips is 20mm, the cost is too high!
Now we choose diffuse reflection LED,its lamp angle is up to 160-180 degree, so we can use less led strips, generally the spacing distance of led strips is 2 times of light box's thickness, that means 40mm fabric light box, using 80mm spacing distance, save much money, better display effect, no light shadow.

17/25/35mm, generally no lighting.
30mm, no lighting or with LGP.
